Get to know The Affections..

Ryan Curtis
Vocals & Guitar
Ryan’s passion for music began at a young age and over the years he has used that passion to become a full time professional musician and performer. Primarily a vocalist, Ryan is also a very proficient guitar and bass player and enjoys playing piano from time to time.
Currently touring as part of national theatre tour Luther Live (which takes him to incredible theatres all over the UK), Ryan also works with Birmingham based wedding & function band The Collective. You will also find Ryan performing as part of the touring theatre show One Night of Billy Joel - The Piano Man, in which he plays electric guitar, acoustic guitar, percussion and backing vocals - not forgetting the triangle too!
Most recently Ryan has begun starring in Endless Love which is another touring theatre production dedicated to the music of Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.
All of the above keeps Ryan very busy but he’s never too busy for The Affections. This is a true passion project for Ryan - he is constantly trying to work out new and exciting covers and mashups of beloved songs to keep spectators on their toes, whilst also utilising the range of Holly’s vocal prowess to thread it all together.
Holly Reynolds
Vocals & Guitar
After completing her degree at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), Holly has been incredibly fortunate to be able to make her passion a full time job. She has toured in many musical theatre productions, including multiple performances in the West End, as well as performing as part of many other bands & shows over the years.
Holly is currently touring as part of national theatre tour Luther Live which has been running since 2018 and most recently achieved a sold out performance at the London Palladium. You will also find Holly working as part of The Collective (a Birmingham based wedding & function band) and V.F Productions, who provide a wide range of shows from Motown to 90s pop - they perform as part of many events as well as starring at Warners Hotels and now cruise ships!
Holly also works as a solo act, mostly as a vintage vocalist providing all the hits from the 1950s & 60s. She also still gets to perform in a musical theatre capacity once a year as part of Motherwell’s Easter Eggstravaganza, which she absolutely loves.
Again, Holly is lucky to find herself keeping very busy but truly loves The Affections project.
Holly began her performing journey playing guitar and is so happy whenever she gets chance to play her beloved Gibson Hummingbird, plus to be able to do it with a talented musician like Ryan is such an honour and a joy.
